Nelio is a boy with magical powers.  One day, he is found on the floor with a wound to his chest by a young man to whom he starts telling the story of his life. What unfolds is a story of magical realism, violence and life in the streets of an imaginary city in Africa. Based on the novel Chronicles of the Winds.

Dina is pregnant and tries to hide it from her parents. Her mother finds out and tries to protect her from her violent husband and is physically abused as a result. Dina convinces her mother that enough is enough: she should take her husband to court.
