Obdulio is an 11 year-old Afro-Uruguayan boy who sells newspaper to support his grandmother. He is not interested in school even thou he cannot read or write well. His encounter with a night wachtman is an introduction to the world of letters and fertile imagination. A film that travels between the tradition of Murgas and Candombe.
