Passionate sensuality is experienced anew at any age and in any sexual combination. Our skins mark the boundary between our own and other bodies, between ourselves and the world. But the skin is also our largest organ of contact. Touching, tasting and smelling are the sources of our keenest sensations - of sensations keener than seeing and hearing. All of our life, we sway between the poles of being alone - and thus of being vulnerable and mortal - and of losing ourselves in others.
